1. About these terms
These terms and conditions govern your use of https://obong.co.uk and any purchase you make from it. By placing an order you agree to these terms. Questions? Contact us at support@obong.co.uk.
2. Who we are
This website is operated by
References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Obong design.
3. Placing an order
When you place an order we send you an order confirmation email. A binding contract is formed when we send that confirmation. If an item is unavailable or mispriced we will contact you and refund any payment taken in full.
4. Pricing & payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown before you pay. We accept payment by debit and credit card (processed by Stripe), PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We never store your card details; payments are handled by PCI-DSS compliant processors.
5. Personalised and made-to-order items
Many of our garments are printed to order. Printing to order is not the same as personalisation: unless you have supplied custom text or artwork, your item is a standard catalogue design produced on demand.
Where you supply custom text or upload a design, you confirm you own the rights to that material. We may refuse designs that are unlawful, infringe the rights of others, or are offensive. Items made to your specification or clearly personalised are excluded from the statutory right of cancellation (see section 7).
6. Delivery
Estimated delivery times: UK Standard 2–4 working days (£3.99, free over £50); UK Express 1–2 working days (£6.99); Europe 4–7 working days (from £7.99); rest of world 5–12 working days. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. These are estimates, not guarantees; delays caused by carriers or customs are outside our control.
Orders shipped outside the UK may attract import duties or taxes levied by the destination country. These are your responsibility and are not included in the price you pay us.
7. Your right to cancel (UK and EU consumers)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, for any reason. To cancel, tell us in writing (email is fine) within that period and return the goods within a further 14 days. We will refund all payments, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or of you providing proof of return.
The right to cancel does not apply to: goods made to your specification or clearly personalised (for example an item printed with custom text or your own artwork), sealed goods unsuitable for return on hygiene grounds once unsealed, and goods that have been worn, washed or damaged after delivery.
Please note that printing a standard catalogue design to order is not personalisation, so the 14-day right to cancel applies to those items.
8. Faulty goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If a product is faulty you have a 30-day short-term right to reject it for a full refund, followed by repair or replacement rights. Contact us with photos and your order number and we will put it right.
9. Returns outside the statutory right
Separately from your statutory rights, we operate the returns policy set out on our Shipping & Returns page. That policy never reduces your statutory rights, and where the two differ, your statutory rights apply.
10. Intellectual property
All site content, product designs, artwork, photography and branding are our intellectual property or used under licence, and may not be copied, reproduced or resold without written permission.
11. Liability
We do our best to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
